The Minnesota Collie Frolic is on Saturday, September 12, from noon to 4 p.m. at the home of Cathy and Garth Kangas located at 766 128th Street W. in Shakopee.
We'll have time to visit while our collies and collie wannabees run and play on the property. The property includes open fields, woods, a prairie restoration garden, and several shelters in case of rain. Parking will be on the street with a secure double entrance to prevent any dog from escaping. Seating is limited so please bring a lawn chair.
A light meal will be available about 1 p.m. for a $5 donation. We'll have sub sandwiches, salads, chips, cookies, beverages, and something special prepared by Garth who loves to cook. Free bottles of water will be available for all.
A FREE table will be set up with miscellaneous items that people can take as well as drop off. All dogs will get a free bag of delicious dog treats from Must Be Ruff dog bakery.
Please contact Terry Libro at tlibro@hotmail.com or 612-270-3368 if you plan to attend so we can plan accordingly.
Join us on September 27th from 12 noon - 4 pm for a fun day of collie frolicking and catching up with new and old friends.
Diane Liebert has offered to host this frolic at her home in Madison, WI. Diane has a huge yard for the collies to play and a huge deck for people to gather. This is an informal, free outdoor event that is open to the public. We'll have a light lunch, a table of free items, and dog treats.
